In a super special exclusive, Darren Hayes is bringing 'A Big Night In With Darren Hayes', which he describes as a mix of "theatre, comedy, reality TV, advertising and pop", to the Sydney Opera House this July.

Having just completed twelve shows in the UK and Ireland playing to over 30,000 fans, A Big Night In sees Darren re-inventing the pop world once again, promising all the hits you would expect - with a twist!

"As a fan of bands who've split up, like Eurythmics, or the countless incarnations of Fleetwood Mac, I understand the desire to hear songs you know, solo or otherwise. And as an audience member, there's nothing worse than going along to see someone you adore and they play the obscure Japanese only b-sides!" Hayes explains.

Lavishly designed and directed by long time collaborator and U2 staple Willie Williams, A Big Night In will blow the lid off the conventional pop concert and reveal what only insiders have known for the longest time - Darren Hayes is not just an extraordinary live singer, he's charming, funny, confessional and honest. And he's inviting you into his living room to demonstrate.

While weaving his way through a string of smash hits, Darren is the MC of his own evening. Without giving too much away, it's truly interactive. Utilizing a team of highly imaginative musicians on stage, and incorporating film and video instillation with a stunning set and lighting design, fans should turn up, prepared to participate in this cutting edge concert experience.
